According to the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette on 9 September 2025, the mandatory exit fee for leaving Turkey has been increased.

According to the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette on 9 September 2025, the mandatory exit fee for leaving Turkey has been increased.

- Previously set at 710 TRY, the fee has now been raised to 1000 TRY.


This fee must be paid by all Turkish citizens when leaving the country through:

  • Airports
  • Land border gates
  • Seaports

Therefore, starting from 9 September 2025, citizens must take into account the new fee amount for any international travel.
