The International Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, being held for the 10th time this year in Antalya's historical center, will offer an atmosphere filled with art, music, culture, and history from October 9-12. Organized by Muratpaşa Municipality, the festival will open with the traditional parade starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 10, in front of the former Metropolitan Municipality building. On the opening night of the festival, a Gripin concert will meet music lovers at 8:00 PM at the Orta Mirador in Karaalioğlu Park.

Kaleiçi, a symbol of Antalya with its bougainvillea-adorned narrow streets, historical mansions, and multicultural structure, will host guests from world cities during the festival. This year, delegations from 26 different cities in 21 countries will come to Antalya for the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival. The delegations will discuss the topic of "Sustainable Tourism in Historical Cities" at a forum to be held on October 11 at the Türkan Şoray Culture Center. Throughout the festival, more than 120 events will take place at 34 different points in Kaleiçi.

During the festival, Kaleiçi will host many art forms, from painting to ebru (paper marbling), from ceramics to caricature. With contributions from ZİÇEV Antalya Branch and İstek Antalya Schools, Ebru art, street painting, and bracelet-making workshops will be organized at Ruinadalia Hotel on October 9-10. Additionally, the "Faces of the City: Draw Your Own Portrait" event will take place with public participation on Kılınçarslan Hamam Street on October 9, 10, and 11.

The event, to be held in the garden of Cedrus Hotel on October 9-10, will bring together traditional weaving techniques with modern art. On Kılınçarslan Hamam Street, a pebble art workshop titled "Overflowing Dreams" will be held on October 9. Another nostalgic event of the festival, the "From Past to Present: Doors, Knobs, and Locks" exhibition, will bring art enthusiasts together with the detailed craftsmanship of the past at Buda Cafe from October 10-12.

This year, an orienteering competition has been included in the festival program for the first time. In the competition to be held on Sunday, October 12, participants will try to find targets using maps and compasses in the labyrinthine streets of Kaleiçi. Furthermore, thematic Kaleiçi tours with guides, organized between October 9-11, will take visitors on a historical discovery with the themes "Kaleiçi through its Plants," "Kaleiçi through its Street Names," and "Kaleiçi from the Travelers' Perspective."
