What Does KETEM Offer?
Free cancer screenings:
Breast Cancer
- Women aged 40–69
- Mammography every 2 years
- Note: An appointment (randevu) is required for mammography.
Cervical Cancer
- Women aged 30–65
- HPV DNA and PAP smear tests every 5 years
- These tests can be done without an appointment by visiting the hospital.
Colorectal Cancer
- Men and women aged 50–70
- Fecal occult blood test (FOBT) every 2 years
- This test can also be done without an appointment.
How to Make an Appointment with KETEM:
- Visit your nearest KETEM center in person
- Call the center for information or to book a mammogram

Who Can Access These Services:
All KETEM services are free of charge, regardless of whether you have health insurance.
You only need to be a Turkish citizen or hold a valid residence permit (ikamet).
